Perfect Vision in Machine Tools: UYAR VisionLine Lens Configurations for Maximum Image Quality

UYAR camera systems are available with two different lens types offering varying fields of view (90°, 142°). Both lenses are fixed focal lengths, meaning the focal length remains constant, providing a fixed frame. The advantage of a fixed focal length lies in its higher image quality, reflected in greater sharpness and contrast. Additionally, it offers higher light intensity, which translates to larger maximum apertures, enabling shots in low-light conditions.

The choice between a 90° and a 142° lens largely depends on your specific application and the requirements for the desired field of view. Both lens types have a high depth of field. The focus range of the lenses starts at 50 cm. If you wish to view an object in your machine that is positioned closer than 50 cm to the camera, we can adjust this specifically for you at the factory.
